The Christmas season officially begins on the first Saturday of December in the City of Santa Fe Springs. As is customary, the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting plays a big part of the celebration that draws hundreds of residents to the Town Center Plaza for an evening of musical entertainment which culminates in the arrival of Santa Claus. Singing and dancing performances by various children and adult groups add to the merriment of the occasion. The Masters of Harmony presents a collection of holiday favorites to round out the program. Admission and refreshments are free. The program begins at 7 p.m.
