For this event, tarp-sheltered picnic tables (seating 10) just beyond the dance floor may be rented ($100/table). Food and drink concessions are in the immediate area or folks may bring their own. The majority of attendees will fill the plaza many hours ahead of showtime with beach chairs and blankets, and will enjoy the performance under the stars while picnicking with kids and dogs. Ladies: With all the outlet stores and an amazing art gallery, don’t forget your negotiable plastic.
Traditionally, these summer weekend concerts are given by rock groups and are generally attended by an audience that digs mostly hard rock and occasional Beach Boys/Beatles-type genre. They re predominantly out-of-town visitors that trek up CA-18/CA-173 for the free concerts.
Talk about the extra-added attraction! Opening for the Masters of Harmony will be the phenomenal Honey Whiskey Trio, harmoniously-talented young ladies from Cal State University Long Beach, who won the 2013 Harmony Sweepstakes National Competition. Check out their accolades at here.
In an effort to broaden their musical offerings to the community, the producers (Lake Arrowhead Village Merchants Association) are very excited about having the Masters of Harmony perform.
Plan on bringing the entire family. Get there early so you can enjoy all the other festivities taking place on that day. You won’t want to miss the “Lake Arrowhead Classic Car & Motorcycle Show” on display throughout the mall from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. It’s a rare opportunity to view these pristine examples of the automotive industry’s illustrious past. This is an annual event that attracts many visitors.
