Annual Spring Show in Downey is a "Show of Champions"

On May 31, 2014, the Masters of Harmony makes its third appearance at the Downey Civic Theater where its previous spring shows were huge successes. This year, the show title is “Livin’ Large in Las Vegas,” something the Masters hope to do on July 4 in competition for their ninth consecutive international chorus championship. Not only will you experience the matchless quality of a chorus considered by many among the best in the world, you will also experience both the current International Men’s International Quartet Champion, Masterpiece, and the current Women’s International Quartet Champion, LoveNotes! This is the first time, perhaps the only time this year, these two quartets appear on the same show. This amazing array of barbershop talent will grace the stage of the Downey Civic Theater, which has an intimate 738 seats and is located just a few miles from downtown Los Angeles, midway between the 605 and 710 Freeways. It is adjacent to the Embassy Suites Hotel and Mimi’s Café with convenient, free, well-lighted parking available behind the hotel and theater.

For over 20 years, the Masters of Harmony, eight-time international chorus champions, have been thrilling their audiences with emotionally stirring, perfectly balanced, four-part a cappella harmony. Polished, high energy Broadway show style choreography adds visual appeal to the music. Invariably, audiences express their appreciation of what they have just experienced with standing ovations.
