The Masters of Harmony Seek 10th Consecutive District Title

For the Masters of Harmony, the road to the 2014 International Convention in Las Vegas has already had one qualification stop, the Southeast-Southwest Division Contest in Ontario last spring. With a noticeably smaller contingent on the risers, the Masters scored one of the highest scores in their history to win the chorus contest and thus qualified to compete at the next stop in the road – the Far Western District Fall Convention. The signature events of the convention are the all-day chorus and quartet contests on October 12 held at the Bakersfield Convention Center (Rabobank Theater).

When the Masters take the stage, they will be attempting to win their tenth consecutive district chorus championship. If their quest is successful, they will perform in the evening for the entire convention. The Masters are also planning to host an afterglow to showcase some of the talent that had crossed the stage throughout the day.
