On Saturday, May 21, 2011, the Masters of Harmony, winner of seven international chorus championships, and The Westminster Chorus, two-time winner and current chorus champion, will make their first appearance at the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse for shows at 2:00 and 8:00 pm. Many entertainment critics have described the historic Playhouse as “majestic” and “strikingly beautiful.” Similar accolades are used to describe the champion choruses featured on the shows.
For over 25 years, the Masters of Harmony have been bringing audiences to their feet with their legendary world-class, high-energy, emotionally stirring, perfectly balanced, four-part, a cappella harmony. Broadway show-style choreography adds visual appeal to the music, and the combination produces standing ovations at every Masters concert. Several award-winning chapter quartets will add musical variety.
The Westminster Chorus is a youth-oriented group based on the Masters of Harmony music and choreography models. In just a few years, it has become internationally renowned in its own right. In 2009, the chorus was named “Choir of the World” at an international competition in Wales. That was only a foretaste as, in July 2010, these young men won the International Barbershop Chorus Championship in Philadelphia with the highest scores ever recorded!

Online ticketing has closed for this event, but tickets can be purchased at the door on the day of the show. If purchasing tickets at the door, please arrive one hour before the performance so that we can be sure to get you seated in time for the entire show!
