The Masters and OC Times are once again honored to bring their own unique repertoire to the theater home of Richard and Karen Carpenter, legendary vocal artists linked by family and recordings of everlasting beauty. Both groups will perform on May 30, 2009, at Long Beach’s Carpenter Theater. The matinee is scheduled for 2pm and the evening show set for 8pm.
Ah, but there is more! Also part of this showcase of gold medal talent is Masterpiece, the current Far Western District champion quartet and a foursome considered a top contender for future quartet gold. All four of its members have won gold medals with other quartets. Two were members of Nightlife that joined the Masters as chorus/quartet gold medal winners in 1996, the second time this difficult-to-achieve feat was accomplished.
The Masters, OC Times, and Masterpiece, have a program filled with songs designed to cheer, charm, uplift, and even knock your socks off. We invite you to be part of this unique convergence of vocal talent with the warm, friendly ambiance of the Carpenter Theater.
