The Masters of Harmony return to the warm ambiance of the elegant Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach. Led by Mark Hale, regarded as one of the Barbershop Harmony Society’s best directors, the six-time international championship men’s chorus will sing memorable songs to warm your heart as well as upbeat songs that get your toes tapping. The featured quartet is the Society’s current International Champion, Max Q. This highly talented foursome wows audiences wherever it performs. It was recently selected by NASA to serenade the crew of the Space Shuttle Discovery on its mission to add the aptly named Harmony module to the International Space Station.

The Crush, a young foursome from the Masters of Harmony that is quickly making its mark in the quartet ranks of the Society, will have a guest spot on the program. Following the tradition of champions breeding champions, The Crush combines the best of the Westminster Chorus and the Masters of Harmony in its quest for excellence. Masterpiece, another MOH quartet whose members have all enjoyed championship success in various groups, will share their unique sound and experience with their audience.
