The Southern California Vocal Association (SCVA) with help from the Barbershop Harmony Society successfully organized and executed this year’s Close Harmony Festival at Cabrillo High School in Long Beach. There were over 100 young singers from high schools throughout Southern California, and they were joined by the Masters of Harmony, The Westminster Chorus, and a mixed ensemble named SoCal Mix. ... The Masters of Harmony followed performing a set of four songs that included “Love Me, and the World is Mine,” the ballad for the upcoming Southeast and Southwest Division Chorus Contest on Saturday, May 11, in Ontario.
