I felt our Charlotte contest set - “Audition (The Fools Who Dream)/City of Stars Medley” and “Defying Gravity” – had the potential to do more than just entertain our audiences. ... The first audience to witness the set was at the Citrus College show 12 days before our appearance on the Charlotte stage. It rewarded our set with an instant standing ovation. Since the Masters of Harmony opened the first day of the two days needed to accommodate all 37 choruses in the contest, the only Charlotte audience that got to see our set also rewarded us with an instant standing ovation.
