Pasadena, California --- Ken Custer, president of the retiring Far Western District champion Masters of Harmony, sent heartfelt congratulations to Justin Miller, president of the Westminster Chorus (and an international double gold medalist with the MOH himself) for Westminster’s stunning victory at the District chorus competition at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on October 15. Custer’s message included the following:

“Having been present at the inception of the new chorus and having helped with its nurture, we take special pride in your continuing success.  We are pleased to have many of the Westminster members singing with us and contributing decisively to our own international championship, and we are delighted that the Westminster Chorus will once again carry the hopes and aspirations of the Far Western District to the next International Convention.  The enormously rewarding spectacle of young men so obviously at home with the barbershop craft is a wonder and a lesson to the Barbershop Harmony Society.

“The Masters of Harmony will continue to support the Westminster Chorus with the challenges ahead and to help you attain your goals in all ways that we can.”
